Renovation of North Cul-de-sac Garden

December 2015 - February 2017 - A new specimen tree and a new shrub line (Kaleidoscope Abelias) has been added to the North cul-de-sac garden.

The 25-year old pine trees were diseased and were removed in early 2015. The owners approved a new specimen tree in 2015. The Association purchased a great Live Oak that died within 60 days of planting.

The irrigation was modified and new tree was planted in mid-2016. As the tree was guaranteed, it did not cost the association additional funds.

In the process, the 25-year old junipers which had been salvaged from the entry renovation 6 years prior, were slowly dying off and required spot replacement for three straight years. They were replaced with Kaleidoscope Abelias in fall of 2016.

In February 2017, the flower bed which featured annual flowers for the last 20 is has been converted to a grass garden with perennial flowers that will come back every spring. In the winter it will be Sedge (grass) garden.
